In the mountains of Pordenone, in Piancavallo, Mountain Bike lovers can cultivate their passion in a truly beautiful environment, overlooking the Venetian lagoon and the Adriatic coast.

The slopes that in winter make up one of the most renowned ski areas in Friuli Venezia Giulia, are also used in the summer, as tracks for mountain bikes. The Piancavallo Bike Funk Park, open from June to September, consists of three trails (Downhill-Cross Country-Enduro), suitable for moderately experienced bikers. Some trails, such as the "Fontanuzze", start at an altitude of 1200 m and descend to the plains, for a total of 1000 m in altitude, entirely on the natural background.
For those who prefer to enjoy the beauty of nature by taking an excursion, the area offers numerous itineraries on asphalt and dirt roads, suitable for every need. The most famous is the "Giro delle Malghe", not very demanding, which offers an incredible variety of landscapes, from pastures to beech woods and magnificent views of the south eastern slope of Monte Cavallo.

Argentera
