For the 2019/2020 winter season, the Plan de Corones will offer the new 10-seat CWA Rara Omega V cable car on the San Vigilio di Marebbe side.

The new plant will replace the old four-seat chairlift built in 1989 by the Doppelmayr company, which had an hourly capacity of 2,400 people per hour.
The valley station will be moved about 60 meters, while the top station is about 40 meters. The gondola will be of the latest generation Doppelmayr: D-line.
The decision on the use of cabins, rather than chairs, was dictated by the assessments regarding the safety of customers, which are in particular many children and beginners.
At the same time, the project also provides for a considerable expansion of the existing slopes, with a new stretch of track that should improve the whole skiable area in the area between the Col Toron and the Furcia Pass.

Argentera
