It was inaugurated yesterday, January 28, in the ski area of ​​Plose, the new gondola "Pfannspitz" to 10 seats that leads from Rifugio Sci, 1924 meters high, Mount Fana, at an altitude of 2472 meters, and which replaces the two old chairlifts. The plant went into operation last Christmas and has 35 panoramic gondolas carrying passengers in 4 minutes and 16 seconds compared to 15 minutes before.

At the inauguration, including the authorities, were present CEO of Plose Ski Spa, Alessandro Marzola, the mayor of Bressanone, Peter Brunner, and the President of Bressanone Tourism Coop., Markus Huber: "By working together to build the new gondola, we were able to make public how important it is for us the Plose especially as a winter destination and what we strongly believe in this project. It is mainly due to the numbers and the satisfaction of our guests that we recognize how much potential there is still in the development of the Plose in summer and in winter ".
The cable car, the cost of 7.5 million euro, was built by Ropways Leitner, it has a speed of 6 m / s and a capacity of 1800 people per hour. The system provides, according to Markus Huber, offers advantages not only in winter but also in summer for tourists who from now on will take in tow the bike or stroller.
