At Aremogna, in Roccaraso, in the Alto Sangro ski pass area, work is underway for the construction of the new 10-seater "Pallottieri" gondola that will replace the old three-seater chairlift.
The plant, signed by Leitner, will be able to transport up to 2800 people per hour and will reach the mountain station in less than five minutes.
“This is a strategic system for our area - explained Mauro Del Castello, CEO of Sifatt -. This intervention represents a fundamental step in the path of modernizing the plants, strengthening the programmed snow system and creating new services that we have been carrying out for years with consistency. I want to emphasize that we are building the fifth gondola lift within a ski area of over 100 kilometers of slopes, covered almost entirely by the programmed snow system. An important investment that will allow us to be competitive even in the summer, considering that the tourist demand linked to bikes and mountain excursions is always growing ".

The new cable car will be ready for September and will start operating in December with the start of the new winter season.
