Sella Nevea: Skiing between Italy and Slovenia with a single ski pass, immersed in the wild and spectacular Julian Alps

Sella Nevea: the slopes at elevations between 1100 and over 2100 meters above sea level make it ideal for spring skiing. It is a true freeride paradise, with an area dedicated to lovers of this discipline, courses, specific activities to deal with fresh snow and thanks to the cross-border connection, you can also ski across the border and reach the Slovenian resort of Bovec with the same skipass .

This location is a point of reference, as well as for the "amateurs" also for the competitive teams. In fact, since 2007/2008, Sella Nevea has been home to the international center for training in fast alpine skiing disciplines (FIS Training Center). Named after the great champion Gustav Thöeni, he has become since the first season of activity an established international training site, a true reference point for the entire White Circus and the European and Fis Cup competitions. On the competitive track of the Canin, a challenging technical test bench for athletes, the competitive teams can find their own personal gym, while the "amateurs" have at their disposal the "Canin Turistica" track. There are two unmissable events this year: 1) Paralympic ski World Cup From Sunday 27 January to Friday 2 February 2019, downhill races, Super Comb, Super Giant Male and Female2) Finals of the European Alpine Ski CupFrom Monday 11 to Sunday 17 March 2019, Super Giant and Downhill races Male and Female The region has already been the venue for the European Cup finals three times: the competitions took place in 2001 and 2003 in Piancavallo, in 2010 it was the turn of Tarvisio. The Cup then returns to March in Friuli Venezia Giulia this time in Sella Nevea. The event is organized by the Camporosso Sports Union in collaboration with PromoTurismoFVG, the International Ski Federation (Fis) and the Italian Winter Sports Federation (Fisi). Extra-skiing activitiesTelvisio is active in the Forest Camp Card, which gives you the opportunity to access for free or at discounted prices for excursions, snow activities, ski lifts and entrances not only in Italy, but also in Austria and Slovenia!
