The agreement between the Provinces of Bolzano and Belluno, the municipalities of Sesto and Comelico Superiore for the integration of the Croda Rossa - Monte Elmo and Comelico Superiore, has been signed in recent days by the construction of new infrastructures.

The project envisages an investment of 44 million euros, of which 70% is covered by public funds and the remaining 30% by private individuals. More precisely, the plan envisages connecting the existing installations in Comelico already made thanks to two new installations in the territory of Belluno. The Popera cable car will allow you to get off the homonymous track from Campotrondo in Valgrande to the Cima dei Colosei via the link to the Cross Mountain track. The Valgrande chairlift will give access to the track from Campotrondo in Valgrande to the intersection with Campo. At the Passo Montecroce Comelico will be built the new Kreuzberg-Signaue cable car which will serve as a link to the ski area of ​​Sesto Pusteria. For the construction of the latter plant, a further investment of 5.5 million euros is expected.
The whole project also includes snow-plowing facilities, parking areas, antivalanguard systems, snowshoe storage basins and the purchase of jet skiing equipment.
The objective is to promote an economic growth in the less developed tourist area of ​​Veneto. To complete the bureaucratic iteration and the works will arrive in the winter season 2019-2020.
