Snowboarding in the 3 Valleys, France: Meribel, Courchevel, Val Thorens - Feb 2012

Highlights from our Feb 2012 Snowboarding holiday to The 3 Valleys in France. In a hectic week we managed to cover La Tania, Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. We had awesome snowfall a few weeks previous, but whilst we were there, the temperatures had dropped to a maximum of -11 during the day in resort and -37 at the peaks at night, so we had mostly hard packed ice conditions on piste...off piste we managed to find some (slightly crunchy) powder. We were spoiled for choice with parks, so much so that we never managed more than one or two runs through each one, but we did get to ride the DC43 Park, Courchevel Wood Park, Courchevel Family Park, Meribel Moon Park, and the BK Park. The park at VT was probably the best one, but I don't have any footage unfortunately, as it was so cold that day my GoPro stopped working - the first time I've ever known that happen!
