On Saturday 29th September the new 3S gondola lift will be inaugurated which will connect Zermatt to the Piccolo Cervino.

The plant, built by the Leiner company, will transport passengers from Trockener Steg to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise at almost 4000 meters high.
The Pininfarina cabins will be spacious and comfortable, decorated with Swaroski crystals. The gondola lift has been realized with DirectDrive technology that guarantees a quieter and lower consumption.
In addition, the Swiss hope to build a cable car for the connection between the Klein Matterhorn and the Plateau Rosa within the next two years.
