The two days of the snowboard world championships began in Rogla as regards the alpine disciplines and the Azzurri are there, in full swing in the parallel giant on the Slovenian snow. Roland Fischnaller signed the fourth time in qualifying, behind the Russian trio formed by Sluev, Loginov and Sobolev, for another colossal match between Italy and Russia like in the World Cup.
The holder of the crystal ball will challenge the Austrian Payer in the round of 16 at 2.00 pm (live on Eurosport 2 and Rai Sport); Mirko Felicetti will be in the same upper part of the board, immediately against the Korean Kim, in the lower part Aaron March (7th time in the morning) against the Polish Kwiatkowski and Edwin Coratti will face the Austrian Mathies.
In the women's competition nothing to do, really by a whisker, for the only blue in the dance: Nadya Ochner in fact finished 18th, with Ramona Hofmeister already in front of everyone (Ester Ledecka, registered in the competition, did not start), compatriots Loch and Joerg for a Germany that is scary, even if the Russian Nadyrshina (4th time in qualifying) could be the real danger for the Germans.
