Biathlon: Tarjei B and Mona Brorsson win the European title in the Minsk Sprint

This morning, the Minsk-Raubichi (Blr) Europeans staged the Sprint trials, which saw a start-up field starting off at the start.

In the men's field the gold medal went to the eve favorite, Tarjei BÃ¸. The Norwegian, after the second place of the Individual, today gave a test of strength on skis. Despite a mistake in the series on the ground, the finish line preceded Jesper Nelin 2nd and Dmitry Malyshko 3rd, both infallible from the pitch. The Swede was the only one able to worry BÃ¸ and closed at 10 "from the gold medal. The Russian has instead paid 35 ", putting behind only 4 tenths of the French Aristide Begue (0 + 0) 4th. The continental title went to the Swedish Mona Brorsson, who with the "zero" at the shooting range has trimmed a good 37 "to the Russian Ekaterina Yurlova-Percht (0 + 1) and 45" to the most quoted countryman Hanna Ã–berg, who paid dearly two errors in the standing series. The number one of the Swedish women's movement in the final managed to put the Russian Svetlana Mironova behind by 5 tenths. The Norwegian Karoline Offigstad Knotten had to settle for 5th place. All the blue ones in the race ended up in the rear: 53rd Samuela Comola, 69th Michela Carrara and 70th Irene Lardschneider.
