In Oestersund the last chapter of the World Cup: tomorrow we start with the Sprint

The grand final of the 2020/21 World Cup will see the athletes engaged in a very intense weekend of competitions, on Saturday the Pursuits are scheduled and on Sunday the Mass Starts.

It starts at 12:30 with the women's test. With the bib one will immediately take to the track Hanna Oeberg, who will precede, in a crackling start to the race, Dzinara Alimbekava (3) and Dorothea Wierer (6). In total we will see three blue in the race, in addition to the South Tyrolean there will in fact be Lisa Vittozzi (14) and Michela Carrara (69). All the top athletes are concentrated in the first and second group, with Eckhoff who has drawn a high bib and will therefore have 55. In the third group, eyes on Stina Nilsson (58), making her World Cup debut. In the final of the race there will be room for many young people, among which the name of the Swiss Amy Baserga (100) stands out. Here is the starting list of the women's Sprint! At 15:30 it will be the turn of the men's race, which will see Johannes Boe and Laegreid compete for the crystal ball. Both have chosen the first group, Boe has drawn the number 1, while Sturla will have the 12. Between the two there will be Lukas Hofer (4) and Dominik Windisch (6). For Italy we will also see Thomas Bormolini (44), Didier Bionaz (77) and Tommaso Giacomel (92) at the start. Different tactical choices for the two top nations: the leading Norwegians opted for the first group while the French Desthieux, Fillon Maillet and Jacquelin for the second. With higher bibs, however, pay attention to some names, in particular to the Norwegians Aleksander and Filip Andersen, respectively at the start with 64 and 102 and to the French Antonin Guigonnat (79).
