Not only biathlon at the Summer Festival of Forni Avoltri. There will be a roller ski competition too!

The organisers have just shown the track of the Frassinoro Summer Biathlon Festival that is taking place from the 14th to the 16th of July at Carnia Arena in Forni Avoltri.

Champions will find the best conditions thanks to a combination of a spectacular ring (1.350m length) and new materials (roller ski and wheels) provided for the first time by Sporten, a Czech brand.

Many Italian cross-country champions are invited in addition to the Italian National Biathlon Team (skippered by Dorothea Wierer) and other foreigner athletes.

For the first time of the young history of the unique Italian Summer Biathlon Kermesse there will be a cross-country exhibition race.
On Saturday, at 16.45 a mixed team sprint is plan with the participation of seven couples: every participant has to complete three laps of 1.350 m and interchange with his/her team companion.
