The 34-year-old will compete in her last races in Oslo after more than 360 official starts and a notable palmares.

Today the transalpine Anais Bescond has decided to follow in the footsteps of her compatriot Desthieux in the next retirement from biathlon at the end of the current season.
Bescond released a statement on his Instagram profile to announce this decision:
"A few hours after the last sprint of the world cup, I inform you that it will also be the last of my career. I will put my rifle aside next spring but this is a happy ending to my career. During this period there have been good memories and many emotions as well as having had ups and downs, injuries, cultivated friendships, traveled several times to various countries, as well as I obtained many podiums and medals! All this thanks to myself and to biathlon. Now is the time to turn the page to continue my journey. I want to thank my family, friends, partners and fans and everyone who worked with me to improve my performance ”. Bescond ends his career right where he started fifteen years ago back in 2007.
The happy ending of this career also translates into the numbers that correspond to the results obtained: Three Olympic medals, eight world medals, an individual victory in the Anterselva sprint to which another 13 relay victories are added.
In addition to her, yesterday the Czech Eva Puskarcikova, world champion in the relay race in Anterselva in 2020 and Olympic medalist in the relay in Sochi 2014, announced her retirement from competitions.
