Biathlon: Daniele Cappellari shines in Ibu Cup, victories for Filip Andersen and Akimova

Good performance in the second Sprint of Ibu Cup in Arber (Ger) for the blue, who finished 5th with a perfect test at the shooting range. In the women's field they were competitive on skis but instead Nicole Gontier and Michela Carrara messed up shooting, finishing in 27th and 28th position. Rebecca Passler is growing.

The female test was won by the Russian veteran Tatiana Akimova (0 + 1), already winner in the first of Sprint on Thursday, who preceded the young compatriot Anastasia Shevchenko (0 + 1) and the transalpine Camille Bened (0 + 0). Mocked for a couple of seconds the Moldovan Stremous (0 + 0) who had to settle for the 4th coin in front of the Swedish Johansson (0 + 0) and Andersson (0 + 1). At home Sweden still far away Stina Nilsson, 69a at the end with three shooting errors. Among the blue the best was Nicole Gontier (0 + 3), discreet on skis but too foul from the pitch. The Aosta Valley preceded Michela Carrara (1 + 1); good performance for Rebecca Passler, 34a with two standing mistakes. Eleonora Fauner (1 + 1) 52a and Beatrice Trabucchi (1 + 1) 81a instead ended up far away. Here the complete ranking. After a good 4th place in the first Sprint, Daniele Cappellari touched the podium again in the men's test. The blue, perfect for shooting, paid 58 "seconds to the winner but only 9" from third place. The race was dominated by the Norwegian Filip Andersen (0 + 0) who trimmed 46 "to the German Philipp Nawrath and 49" to his compatriot Sivert Guttorm Bakken (1 + 0). Fourth place for another Norwegian, the most experienced Bogetveit (1 + 1). Discreet test in Italy for Patrick Braunhofer 24th, who confirms himself as a good shooter (0 + 0) but still far behind in the fund.
