Biathlon, here are the blue national teams: Rebecca Passler in team A with Wierer, Vittozzi and Carrara

The FISI has formalized the choices for the 2021/22 season: promoted the very young South Tyrolean, Bormolini returns to team A. Excluding Sanfilippo.

Here they are, the blue national teams in relation to the biathlon scene. The teams' compositions were announced in the morning from via Piranesi, in fact two for the high level, in view of the year that will lead up to the Beijing Olympics. The technical director Fabrizio Curtaz worked on two formations, team A linked to the Beijing 2022 project, and team B - Milan-Cortina 2026. Eleven elements are part of the reference team, with Andreas Zingerle responsible coach and the inclusion in the technical staff of Mirco Romanin, who worked so well with the young players. And speaking of talents, the big news is represented by Rebecca Passler, in team A with Dorothea Wierer, Lisa Vittozzi and Michela Carrara, after having already emerged at the beginning in the IBU Cup and having beaten the two big names of the movement at the recent Italian championships. Seven men, with the return of Thomas Bormolini, in a team that also counts on Lukas Hofer, Dominik Windisch, Didier Bionaz, Tommaso Giacomel, Patrick Braunhofer and Daniele Cappellari. Alexander Inderst's B team, on the other hand, will count on Samuela Comola, Irene Lardschneider, Beatrice Trabucchi, Hannah Auchentaller, Linda Zingerle, Eleonora Fauner and Martina Trabucchi, while Federica Sanfilippo remained out of the federal cadres. Five young people included in the group: they are Daniele Fauner, Cedric Christille, Michele Molinari, David Zingerle and Jacopo Leonesio.
