Biathlon: the first Pursuit is by Mars Roeiseland, thirteenth Dorothea Wierer

The Pursuit of Ostersund graduates Mars Roeiseland starting with the bib 12 which imposes itself with 4.8 seconds on Anais Bescond and 7.0 on Anais Chevalier.

In the first lap Elvira Oeberg and Hanna Sola very quickly recover the fifteen seconds that separated them from Lisa Hauser, winner of the Sprint; the Austrian makes no mistake at the first shooting range and gains 18 seconds over Anais Chevalier (5/5), 25 over Elvira Oeberg (4/5) and 36 seconds over Mars Roeiseland (5/5). Dorothea Wierer is not wrong, who at the end of the session is in sixth position at 42.4 from the leader and 17 seconds from the podium. It is a push and pull of the first three with Hauser cautious on skis who is reabsorbed by Elvira Oeberg and Chevalier and the three make no mistake at the second polygon; Roeiseland who shows up at 17 seconds is not mistaken as well as Hanna Oeberg and they find themselves 20 seconds from the leading trio while an error brings Wierer to one minute, around thirteenth position. In the third lap Elvira Oeberg greets the rest of the company, tries to limit the damage Anais Chevalier while Hanna Oeberg and Roeiseland return to Hauser; two mistakes for Elvira and one for Chevalier while Hauser continues not to make mistakes and finds himself in the lead again. Chevalier at 19 seconds, Roeiseland, Hanna Oeberg and Bescond at 25, Elvira just behind. Behind Hauser a train of five biathletes forms, fighting for the podium that jumps on the Austrian at the shooting range; six of them play everything on the last pitch. The 5/5 arrives for Chevalier, Roeiseland and Hauser, not even Bescond is wrong but finds himself at 6.0 but manages to close the hole. Mars Roeiseland takes off the others while the French try to keep Hauser off the podium.
