Once the seasonal opening in Oestersund has been archived, the great biathlon lands in the Alps. Tomorrow the Sprint tests will open the second stage of the World Cup in Hochfilzen, while between Saturday and Sunday there will be relays and pursuits.

To open the dances will be the men, engaged from 11:25. The three top nations Sweden, France and Norway have made different strategic choices, which will make the race interesting from start to finish. The Swedes Ponsiluoma and Samuelsson have in fact chosen the first group and will start with 14 and 20. Norwegians and French have instead decided for the second group: Desthieux will therefore have 36, Jacquelin 39, Christiansen 51, Johannes Boe 53 and Fillon Maillet 56. In the third group pay attention to Fabien Claude (68), Bakken (84) and especially Laegreid (93). Among the Italians, Bormolini will have 13th, Hofer 43rd, Giacomel returning from an excellent performance in the Oestersund Pursuit on 46th, Bionaz 98th and Windisch 119th.

Dorothea Wierer will open the women's competition, scheduled for 2.15pm. For Italy there will also be Lisa Vittozzi (21), Samuela Comola (60), Michela Carrara (86) and Eleonora Fauner (105), who takes the place of Hannah Auchentaller after the good results obtained in the Ibu Cup. in the first group: Chevalier (4), Davidova (7), Elvira Oeberg (11), Alimbekava (13), Hanna Oeberg (15), Herrmann (23) and Roeiseland (25). Instead, the leader of General Hauser (41), Tandrevold (43), Preuss (53), Eckhoff (55) have chosen the latter. With high pectorals pay attention to Simon (88) and the returning Hildebrand (116).
