In Val Martello the season ends with the great gathering of the Italian biathlon movement for the Italian Championships.

In the heavy snow at the end of March, the national title of the Mass Start in the men's field goes to Lukas Hofer, the great blue star of the season. The South Tyrolean (1-0-3-1) uses the displacement of his engine to get his hands on the tricolor jersey in the last lap where he overtakes and precedes by 5.4 seconds Thomas Bormolini (0-0-1 -2), third place for Dominik Windisch (0-2-1-1) at 20.5 seconds.
Jacopo Leonesio (0-0-2-0) won in the junior category (under 22) ahead of Stefano Canavese (1-0-1-1) by 12.7 and Daniele Fauner (0-0-2-2) by 20.2 seconds . In the under 19 category, the success went to policeman Nicolò Betemps (0-0-3-2) in front of Christoph Pircher (0-0-0-3) and Leonardo Mosquet (0-1-3-2); among the under 17s, Paolo Barale from Cuneo (0-0-0-2) triumphed.
After the three medals at the Junior World Championships in Obertilliach, Rebecca Passler (1-0-2-0) wins her first absolute Italian title ahead of Lisa Vittozzi (1-0-2-2) and Dorothea Wierer (1-1-1 -0). Great celebrations at the end of the race for Nicole Gontier at the last individual race of her competitive career.
In the other categories Fabiana Carpella (1-0-1-3) dominates the Under 17 category ahead of Serena Del Fabbro (2-2-1-0) and Astrid Plosch (1-1-0-1). In the under 19 category Martina Trabucchi (1-0-0-0) won ahead of Denise Plancker (0-0-0-0), third position for Sara Scattolo (0-0-2-2).
With the first position in the major race, Rebecca Passler also conquers the Italian Under 22 title ahead of Hannah Auchentaller (1-2-30-) and Linda Zingerle (1-0-2-3).
