Biathlon: Mirco Romanin confirmed as head of the junior national team

Today the FISI has formalized the composition of the national junior biathlon team for the 2019/20 season.

After a good season, crowned with two bronze medals at the world championships in Osrblie (Svk), the federation decided to confirm the leadership of the Mirco Romanin group. The Friulian coach will be assisted by Fabio Cianciana and Edoardo Mezzaro. Twelve athletes, seven boys and five girls were born on the team, born between 1998 and 2002. They are Didier Bionaz, Stefano Canavese, Cedric Christille, Tommaso Giacomel, Jacopo Leonesio, Michele Molinari, David Zingerle. With regard to the female sector, Hannah Auchentaller, Samuela Comola, Rebecca Passler, Beatrice Trabucchi and Linda Zingerle were selected. The IBU Junior Cup season will open on December 9th in Pokljuka (Slo), while the following week the youth circuit will move to Val Martello. The Italian stage will precede the two highlights of the season: the Winter Youth Olympic Games, scheduled in Lausanne (Svi) from 9 to 22 January, and the youth world championships, which will be held in Lenzerheide between the end of January and the beginning of February . After the classic trip to Germany in Arber, the season will end with the European youths from Hochfilzen (Aut).
