Biathlon: Roeiseland overtakes Sola in the Pursuit of Hochfilzen, 10th Stina Nilsson

Hanna Sola defends the advantage of the Sprint until the last climb against a wild Roeiseland. Male blue: Wierer, the best, is thirty-first.

Hanna Sola starts with the wide advantage gained in the Sprint on Friday to manage while among the most immediate pursuers Roeiseland makes the big voice trying to file the fifty seconds that separate her from the tread while not being able to do much in the first lap. Alone is not wrong and Roeiseland also goes 5/5; many are wrong and in third position we find the other Belarusian Alimbekava at 1.16.5, Bendika is fourth at 1.35.8, Herrmann fifth at 1.39.5. An error for Eckhoff who finds himself at 1.42.4, two for Hanna Oeberg at 1.51.9, three penalty laps for Justine Braisaz who at 2.14.2 must put away her dreams of glory like Lisa Vittozzi with four errors. Hanna Sola is also repeated at the second polygon where she arrives with a one minute lead over Roeiseland who makes no mistake and finds herself at 1.05.6; it is 5/5 also for Alimbekava, third at 1.23.0. In pursuit of the leading trio, at 1.46.3, Elvira Oeberg starts after a single mistake in the first session, Denise Herrmann (10/10) is fifth at 1.49.4 while the sixth, Chloe Chevalier (10/10) it's already over two minutes. After a mistake in the first session Dorothea Wierer is twenty-third at 2.46.4 while another three errors arrive for Lisa Vitozzi. Samuela Comola (10/10) in the middle of the race is thirty-seventh at 3.14.8. Sola misses twice in the first standing session but Roeiseland also goes in the penalty lap and the gap is now 38.8 with two seconds faster than Alimbekava. Elvira Oeberg is not wrong, fourth at 53.8; while Herrmann's error arrives, fifth at 1.17.2. Hanna Sola makes a single mistake even at the last polygon and finds herself having to manage an 11-second advantage over Mars Roeiseland, Elvira Oeberg makes no mistake as she goes for the podium overtaking Alimbekava on the last mistake of the day. It is Mars Roeiseland (19/20) who reaches and skips the Belarusian (17/20) for the victory with a 4.1 advantage and Elvira Oeberg's third place at 23.3 (19/20). Fourth place for Alimbekava (19/20) at 48.1, fifth Hanna Oeberg (15/20) at 1.11.7. Sixth Davidova (18/20), seventh Herrmann (17/20), eighth Hinz (18/20), ninth Kazakevich (18/20) and tenth Stina Nilsson (16/20). Dorothea Wierer (17/20) is thirty-first at 2.28.4, Comola (17/20) is forty-first and Lisa Vittozzi (13/20) is forty-second.
