After having suffered the attack of the young Sturla Holm Laegreid in yesterday's Sprint, Johannes Boe brings back the inertia in the fight for the crystal ball with a comeback race after two errors at the first polygon.

It is Simon Desthieux, Arnd Peiffer and Benedikt Doll who take command of the operations after the first polygon chased by the second classified of the Sprint yesterday, Samuelsson, who after a mistake chases at 25 seconds with Jacquelin, Laegreid, Tarjei Boe (an error also for the two Norwegians). Johannes Boe sets the first lap on a frenzied pace to launch the comeback but is stopped by two errors that lead him to more than a minute from the summit with Lukas Hofer taking a penalty lap.
A gust of wind shuffles the cards in the second shooting session and draws a situation with the first 14 biathletes in 34 seconds. Tarjei Boe (9/10), Arnd Peiifer (9/10), Emilien Jacquelin (10/10) and Benedikt Doll (9/10) lead; at 8 seconds follows Jakov Fak (10/10), Sturla Laegreid (8/10) is at 17 seconds, Desthieux (8/10). Fillon Maillet (9/10) and Samuelsson (8/10) are at 20 seconds; Latypov (9/10) at 26, Pidruchnyi (10/10) at 28, Stroemsheim (9/10), Hofer (9/10) and Johannes Boe (8/10) at 34 seconds.
The first standing shooting session clips the wings of the Germans and leaves Jacquelin and Tarjei Boe in command. The first pursuers at 12 seconds are Jakov Fak, Laegreid and Desthieux. Johannes Boe, a man with a mission, makes no mistake and is sixth at 23 seconds. Lukas Hofer makes a mistake once and finds himself in twelfth position at 42 seconds.
In the fourth lap, Johannes Boe and Peiffer return to the first pursuers and enter the last polygon with only 12 seconds of delay. Tarjei Boe makes no mistake and on the last lap he has to manage 10 seconds ahead of Desthouex, Laegreid, his brother Johannes, just behind Fak, Jacquelin and Fillon Maillet.
On skis Johannes Boe leaves the company and launches in pursuit of his brother Tarjei while the fight for the third step of the podium opens. On the finish line Tarjei Boe (1-0-0-0) keeps 8.2 ahead of Johannes (2-0-0-0) and the fight for third place is the prerogative of Simon Desthieux (0-2-0-0) who , at 11.5, precedes Jakov Fak (0-0-0-0), Laegreid (1-1-0-0), Fillon Maillet (1-0-1-0), Jacquelin (0-0-0-1) and Doll (0-1-1-0) all within three seconds.
Lukas Hofer (1-0-1-0) is eleventh at 47.3; Dominik Windisch (0-1-0-1) thirtieth at 2.00.8, Bionaz (1-0-2-0) 40th at 2.44.8 precedes Thomas Bormolini (0-0-1-2) by one position. Fifty-sixth Tommaso Giacome (1-3-1-2) at over 4 minutes.
