Driven by a super Fabiana Carpella, Italy, after last year's Bronze medal, climbs to the top step of the podium with the trio completed by Ilaria and Sara Scattolo. On the other hand, the men's Under 19 relay repeats the Obertillach Bronze with a two-thirds renewed formation.

It is great Italy in the Under 2019 category at Soldier Hollow. In the women's field Ilaria Scattolo (0 + 2), Fabiana Carpella (0 + 0) and Sara Scattolo (0 + 1) win the world title a couple of hours after the third place in the men's team.
If Ilaria Scattolo has to defend herself in the first fraction also due to a cumbersome standing shooting range and at the change she pays 50 seconds with respect to the head of the race, it is an exceptional performance by Fabiana Carpella to launch the blue towards the Gold medal. The seventeen year old from Val di Fiemme is perfect at shooting and in her fraction she inflicts one minute on the Bulgarian Yolova, one minute and fifteen seconds on the German Fichtner and almost two minutes on all the others. Given the change with 17 seconds ahead of Bulgaria and 33 over Germany, Sara Scattolo is not content to manage and still stretches on the German Grotian, Gold in the Pursuit, who closes for the Silver medal at 28.2 and on the Bulgarian Hristova , third at 1.42.6 for the deserved triumph. Italy (0 + 3) Gold, Germany (0 + 3) Silver and Bulgaria (0 + 5) Bronze.
In the men's field. if last year the protagonists of the blue medal were Stefan Navillod, Fabio Piller Cottrer and Marco Barake, only Barale is also present in this edition in a team with Christoph Pichler and Nicolò Betemps.
In the launch phase Marco Barale (0 + 1) set a race on the attack, preceding the Swiss Ullmann (0 + 0) by 4.1 seconds, the German Kaskel (0 + 2) by 18.2 and the Norwegian Fedrehaim (0 +2) of 22.5.
The script remains the same in the second stage where Christoph Pichler (0 + 3) leads the race from the first to the last meter and gains an advantage of 18 seconds over the German Nechwatal (0 + 4) and the Norwegian Aas (0 + 2) .
The turning point takes place in the last fraction: Nicolò Betemps (0 + 2) at the shooting range on the ground has some problems with the rifle and is overtaken by the Norwegian Frey (0 + 3) while on the last lap he pays the pace on the German's skis Engelmann (0 + 6) who adds today's Silver to the Silver Pursuit medal and to the Individual and Sprint Bronzes.
On the finish line Norway (0 + 7) precedes Germany (0 + 12) by 8.7 and Italy (0 + 6) by 41.8.
