In the traditional Norwegian Augustan event, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen is full while in the women's field the French Julia Simon and Tiril Eckhoff shine.

Supersprint, shooting competition and mass-start: the twenty-nine year old from Geilo makes a full booty to Sandnes in the Norwegian weekend where the home team duet with the French biathletes. On Friday, windswept, Christiansen (16/20) preceded Tarjei Boe (15/20) by 3.8 seconds while on the last lap Endre Stroemshein (13/20) managed to prevail against Johannes Boe (13 / 20) for the third step of the podium. The first of the French patrol was Antonin Guigonnat (15/20) seventh at 26.5 seconds behind the winner. The wind gives way to rain on Saturday but the result does not change with Christiansen (19/20) who were cold in the final sprint of the Mass Start the young Soerum (20/20) and Bakken (20/20). An error at the last shooting range is fatal for Tarjei Boe who closes in fourth position at 18.5 while his brother Johannes's shooting day is not the best (15/20) and forces him to twelfth place. Bad for the French with Quentin Fillon Maillet (17/20) who finished in seventh position. The transalpine flag waved high in the women's Supersprint where Julia Simon (18/20) manages to establish herself with 8.5 seconds ahead of Mars Roeiseland (17/20) and 29.3 over Karoline Knotten. Also shows a good condition Justine Braisaz (15/20) fourth at 30.6 in front of Ingrid Tandrevold (17/20) while Tiril Eckhoff (14/20) is seventh. The dominatrix of last season takes revenge in the mass start where, after two errors at the first polygon, she proceeds with a 15/15 which allows her to precede Karoline Knotten (19/20) at the finish line by 22.8 seconds and by 42.1 Marte Roeiseland ( 17/20) that gets rid of in the last lap of Julia Simon's company (17/20), fourth at almost a minute.
