The curtain falls on the Nove Mesto races: here are Italy's choices for the mixed relays

Tomorrow the mixed team trials will close the double stage of the World Cup in the Czech Republic, projecting the athletes towards the grand final in Oestersund. The Mixed Relay starts at 10:25, while the Mixed Single will take place at 13:45.

Italy presents itself at the start of the Mixed Relay in a typical formation, with Vittozzi and Wierer in the first two stages, followed by Windisch and Hofer. The goal of the blue quartet is certainly the podium, which until now has always been missed in the season and which is now missing from the world championships in Anterselva. Norway is favored with a very solid quartet: Eckhoff, Roeiseland and the Boe brothers. Of note are some notable defections among the top nations: for France there will be no Jacquelin, for Sweden rests Hanna Oeberg, while in Germany we will not see Franziska Preuss at the start. Among the girls tomorrow there will not even be the Belarusian Alimbekava. Here is the starting list! Coming to the Single Mixed, the blue technical staff decided to field a young and very intriguing couple: Michela Carrara and Tommaso Giacomel. The first is undoubtedly the number three in the women's sector, the second won the ballot with Bormolini and Bionaz and seems to be the most suitable, in terms of characteristics, for this competition format. On paper, at least three nations start clearly in front of the Azzurri, but they are ready to surprise. Norway fielded Laegreid and Tandrevold, while France is betting everything on world champions Guigonnat and Simon. But also pay attention to Austria which fielded two superfine shooters such as Simon Eder and Lisa Theresa Hauser. Here is the starting list!
