The Sprint tests valid for the Italia Fiocchi Cup and the National Championships of the youth categories were held today at the Carnia Arena International Biathlon Center in Forni Avoltri.

Federica Sanfilippo confirms her third strength behind the two queens of the blue Biathlon; the biathlete of the Fiamme Oro is perfect at the shooting range and imposes itself with a wide margin, almost two minutes, on the closest of the opponents which, surprisingly, is Michela Carrara, second with an error on the ground and one standing. The 22-year-old, who three years ago graduated as world sprint champion in the junior World Championships, precedes by three seconds Nicole Gontier (3 + 1), debilitated by a feverish form. She is fourth at 2''14 "4 Alexia Runggaldier (1 + 1).
In the men's field Rudy Zini (1 + 0) preceded by 53 seconds Paolo Rodigari (0 + 1) and 1''10 "Simon Leitgeb (0 + 1) while Giuseppe Montello did not start yet, still struggling with the long recovery from the injury suffered in Ostersund.
Stefano Canavese and Linda Zingerle from Cuneo win the title in the Italian Youth Championship while the new Italian Junior champions are Didier Bionaz and Irene Lardschneider.
