"I have decided to continue my career until 2020. I think the Anterselva World Cup is the best place and moment to say goodbye to professional sports.
Antholz is the place where everything started for me and where I keep some of the most beautiful memories. Also my family and my friends will all be on board the track.
Of course, as always it will be very stressful, because I will have to release dozens of interviews, and many will be sorry that I will stop. But I'm sure my fans will understand. Being a biathlete for up to 30 years is enough. "
The 27-year-old Blue has also explained what his expectations are for the coming season, the one at which point I will play his last Olympic Games.
"My hope is to get better results than last year. Last winter was not a disaster, but at the same time I'm not satisfied with my performance. I often did not sleep well, I was nervous, and this was Repercussions on the results and on my motivation. Now, however, I feel much more relaxed and confident of me. "
