Dorothea Wierer dominates the Wiesbaden City Biathlon

In the men Lukas Hofer is third in the test won by Johannes Thingnes Boe.

Two years after Lisa Vittozzi's victory, the midsummer event in Wiesbaden records the first place of an imperious Dorothea Wierer, in great condition on inline skates and effective at shooting despite an empty pass with three reloads at the fifth range. The blue champion competes in the head accompanied in the first laps by the Polish Monika Hojnisz and pursued until the end of the race by the French Julia Simon (only 5 recharges for her in the whole race against Dorothea's 6) who at the exit from the '' last polygon is only 8 seconds behind Wierer but pulls the oars into the boat in the last lap closing in second position at 38.6 seconds. Third position at 1.14.9 with 9 reloads and two stops in the cage which replaces the penalty lap for Marketa Davidova who precedes Yuliia Dzhima and Hojnisz. Johannes Thingnes Boe wins his second victory in Wiesbaden with a 19/25 shooting and some balance on the rollers that allow him to precede the sniper (20/25) of the day, the Russian Khalili, at the finish line by 16.4 seconds. Lukas Hofer, despite two passes from the cage and 9 reloads, is third at just 22.7 seconds, testifying to a good condition on the inline skates and ahead of Roman Rees (17/25) by 7 seconds and Pidruchniy (15/25) by 20 ".
