Hofer and Wierer try again: they will compete in the World Team Challenge to repeat the success of 2018. With them, two German couples and one Ukrainian have already been announced.

The blue couple Lukas Hofer and Dorothea Wierer through an announcement on social media have confirmed their next participation in the World Team Challenge in Gelsenkirchen at the Schalke 04 stadium.
The event, scheduled for December 28th, is an exhibition that has been held annually since 2002. Specifically, the two strong blues from different participations have already achieved success in 2018, while last year they closed seventh. Furthermore, Wierer and Hofer chase Ekaterina Yurlova-Percht with two hits in the format, and Ole Einar Bjorndalen with even four hits.
The two South Tyroleans have already been announced three more couples for the World Team Challlenge: the two German couples consisting of Denise Herrmann-Wick with Benedikt Doll and Vanessa Voigt with Philipp Nawrat, and the Ukrainian one formed by Yuliia Dzhima and Dmytro Pidruchnyi.
