Dorothea Wierer's masterful performance in the pursuit of Pokljuka after starting third behind Simon and Oberg gave her yet another podium in her career, the second of the weekend. The management of the shooting range as a true sniper in which she only made a mistake are a symptom of the exponential growth of the champion from Rasun di Sotto. The Italian made her comments on the matter, also aware of an excellent pace on skis in which she maintained the initial gap despite the extra penalty lap compared to the Swede: "It was certainly an important race - she commented at the finish line Wierer -. So the Slovenian location is confirmed as crucial in terms of results for Wierer who now finds himself in fifth position with 411 points in the standings and follows Tandrevold (413), fourth and the German Herrmann with 432 points. Very far behind Elvira Oberg with 575 points and Julia Simon with 606, destined to fight for the Crystal Cup.
