Another celebration for a home biathlete's victory in the European Championships in progress in Poland; to establish herself in the women's pursuit is the twenty-three year old Kamila Zuk (0-0-0-0), who has been a regular participant of the World Cup for some seasons where her best result is a sixth place in the Soldier Hollow Sprint of 2019, who enters in the door left open by the opponents who throw away the coveted victory at the last polygon.

In Val Pusteria sono andate in scena due giornate della versione estiva dello sci di fondo, con Marco Pinzani e Federica Cassol che hanno tronfato nella sprint del sabato sull'asfalto di Anterselva. A Dobbiaco, invece, le 10 km in alternato hanno regalato il successo a Davide Graz e Maria Gismondi, all'interno della cornice della Nordic Arena per quella che è stata la prima tappa della Coppa Italia invernale.
