European Biathlon: the Sprint is of the Swiss Jaeger, eleventh Montello

Twenty-three bisthleti in the space of one minute: this is the response of the men's Sprint of the European Biathlon Championships that launches an exciting Pursuit, scheduled for Saturday. Among them the blue Giuseppe Montello, eleventh 35 seconds behind the winner.

The transalpine talent gives himself the luxury of preceding normal frequenters of the major circuit such as the Ukrainian Pryma (0 + 1) sixth and the Czech Krcmar (0 + 1) eighth. Excellent performance by the Friulian Giuseppe Montello (0 + 1) who is classified in eleventh place at 35.4 from Jager and 20 seconds from the podium area. Problems on skis pay off Saverio Zini (0 + 1) 31. to 1.10.1, Danierle Cappellari (0 + 0) 33. to 1.11.8. Patrick Braunhofer (0 + 2) is 53. at 1.58.2.
