On Wednesday the start of the continental event: Zini, Chenal, Cappellari, Lardschneider, Runggaldier and Gontier are also in the race.

There are seven blue biathletes chosen for the European championships in Minsk, starting on Wednesday with the supersprint, then continuing on Thursday with a mixed "classic" and single mixed relay, before the grand final on Saturday and Sunday with sprint and chase.
Coach Fabrizio Curtaz brought four men, with the returning Giuseppe Montello, out of the game practically from the inaugural World Cup stage in Oestersund, due to the shoulder injury suffered in Sweden, Thierry Chenal, Saverio Zini and Daniele Cappellari. Three girls are engaged, however, with Alexia Runggaldier, Nicole Gontier and the young Irene Lardschneider.
In Minsk, the last Ibu Cup races will take place from 4 to 7 March, with the blue team remaining in Belarus for the six final stages of the circuit.
