The South Tyrolean is hoping for a return to the world cup while maintaining the good form of last year.

Federica Sanfilippo does not retire from competition like the various Herrmann, Wierer and Roeiseland. At 31, the biathlete from Vipiteno was excluded from the FISI by team A which is worth a place in the CdM, a surprise that could herald a possible retirement like the one announced a couple of days ago by Thomas Bormolini.
Despite this exclusion, Sanfilippo hopes to return to the World Cup as soon as possible, also considering the good performances in CdM last season. In fact, the Dt Hollirgl has opened up to this possibility, which is why Sanfilippo has decided not to hang up his skis as reported by Sportnews.biz
On the same line as the South Tyrolean, the transalpine Anais Chevalier, after a pause for reflection after the Olympics that gave her a couple of medals, was more on a sabbatical from competitions because of her mother's tiredness and work as well as asking herself questions for a second child. The conviction in continuing his career came thanks to the new coach to the new goals put on the table and among these is the Oberhof 2023 World Cup as reported by NordicMag. Finally, Paulina Fialkova will not retire from the competition thanks to the podium in Oslo in this year's sprint as announced on her Instagram profile after media rumors tended more towards her retirement.
