A more than 70 days before the start of the World Cup, Germany has already selected 11 of the 12 members of the teams that will participate in the opening stage of the season.

The director Uwe competitive Müßiggang has made his choices based on the status acquired by athletes using performance held in the last season and in the light of the results of the recent national championships.

FEMALE GERMAN CHAMPIONSHIPS RECORD
In the men there are no surprises as you have selected the five men who had represented the "hard core" of the team in 2012 - '13. The chosen ones are then Andreas Birnbacher, Arnd Peiffer, Erik Lesser, Simon Schempp and Florian Graf.
Among women over the untouchables Andrea Henkel and Miriam Gössner were confirmed Laura Dahlmeier and Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle, launched in the maximum circuit already at the end of last season. They will be joined the nineteen year old Franziska Preuss (photo) and the constant Franziska Hildebrand.
In particular it should be noted how the young Preuss has recently dominated the national championships winning three of the four titles up for grabs and as in the early half of last season has taken a better performance of Dahlmeier, before the latter ascended strongly shots.
However it is not yet clear whether Gössner will match before the New Year. The twenty-three Bavarian remained idle for nearly three months after the serious accident suffered by mountain bike in May, has already hinted that it is ready to jump the stages in December in order to give priority to training ahead of the Olympics, where, however, could also participate in the relay of cross country skiing.
In the case of lump sum of one or more "owners" will eventually find space for the currently selected athletes for the stage of Ibu Cup Idre, if able to stand out in the cadet level.
