The American Federation of biathlon officially announced yesterday the names of the athletes who will take part in the first three stages of the World Cup.

After the training camp held in Utah in recent weeks the coaching staff decided to give full confidence also Claire Egan, who will come & agrave; deployed in all the events of the first part of winter and not only in Hochfilzen (where IS is planning a relay).

The two athletes from each sex that will get the most points in the first three stages seasonal gain automatically summons for events in Oberhof, Ruhpolding and Antholz. The rest of the team for the events of January will come & agrave; selected through technical choice, provided that - according to team schedules - in Thuringia should participate only 3 men and 3 women.
The US is still hunting for the first victory of their history in the World Cup after rising 13 times on the podium.
