The biathlon season took place in Bavaria (a few hours before the BlinkFestivalen), with a festival that saw the hosts dominate.

And it was Denise Herrmann and Simon Schempp who took home the success, in the Zurich Race Night's pairing test in Deggendorf, now in its third edition (the first two were staged, in summers 2017 and 2018, in Glasdorf Bodenmais).
A race ennobled therefore by the victory of two world champions as the champion of the pursuit in Ostersund 2019 and the one who imposed himself in the mass start in Hochfilzen 2017; very clear the margin on all the rivals, also considering the difference in level between the pairs at the start, despite the eight mistakes at the shooting range. Marion Deigentesch and Matthias Dorfer (10 errors) arrived at 2''21 â€behind, followed by the Swiss Lena Hacki (the only foreigner in the race) paired with Marco Gross.
