The call-up for the first two stages of the World Cup scheduled in Kontiolahti has been announced. Technical director Fabrizio Curtaz has chosen three men and five women for these first appointments on Finnish soil.

There will be eight blues (between men and women) who will take part in the first two stages of the Biathlon World Cup, which will be staged this weekend and from 3 to 6 December in Kontiolahti. The convocations of the technical director Fabrizio Curtaz were made known through the official channels of the FISI.
In the men's field, in addition to Lukas Hofer, Didier Bionaz and Patrick Braunhofer were called. Surprisingly excluded Dominik Windisch, Daniele Cappellari and Thomas Bormolini, included in a first list issued by the FISI.
As for the women's sector, however, the group will be led by the World Cup holder Dorothea Wierer, flanked by Lisa Vittozzi, Irene Lardschneider, Federica Sanfilippo and Nicole Gontier.
This weekend's program includes individual races on Saturday 28 November (men 11 am, women 2:20 pm), while on Sunday 29 November it will be the turn of the sprints (men 10:30 am, women 1:40 pm),
