In the women's 3x6 km Martina Trabucchi, Sara Scattolo and Linda Zingerle are fighting for the Gold medal up to the last shooting range and then having to settle for the Bronze medal. At the launch Martina Trabucchi (0 + 2) keeps the team close to the first positions where Sara Scattolo (0 + 3) can present herself at the last change in second place, shoulder to shoulder with France and with 30 seconds ahead of Slovenia . The last polygon betrays Linda Zingerle (3 + 5) who is unable to oppose the return of the Slovenian Repinc but retains the third place finish. The gold medal goes to France (0 + 7) which precedes Slovenia by 13.2 (0 + 8) and Italy (3 + 10) by 1.31.7. The three blue fractionists in the men's relay race at the shooting range are excellent. Italy in bronze also in the masachile race, always led at the top by the three blue musketeers Stefan Navillod, Fabio Piller Cottrer and Marco Barale, until the final. Stefan Navillod at the launch (0-0) arrives at the substitution 10 seconds from the lead and Fabio Piller Cottrer (0-0) continues the work by presenting himself at the last change in the front row with France. In the final stage, Marco Barale (0 + 2) uses the only two refills of the Italian race and on skis he has to bow to Poland (0 + 7) who wins the Gold medal and all Franca (0 + 10), Silver a 13.2. For Italy (0 + 2) another Bronze medal at 29.9 from Poland.
