The Norwegian is ready for the opening of the World Cup which will take place in two weeks while Knotten is confirmed in the women's field. At Idre Fjall Anais Chevalier and Emilien Jacquelin win.

After being betrayed yesterday at the shooting range, Johannes Boe (0-0) dominates the Sprint which closes the Norwegian winter season opening gala; the Norwegian champion, the fastest on the track, is 28.5 seconds ahead of the young Sturla Holm Laegreid (0-0) who presented his credentials for the crystal ball in the summer. Third place for Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen (1-0) who closes 33.8 seconds behind the winner. Yesterday's Short Individual winner Tarjei Boe (0-2) only closes in fourteenth position at 1.15.3.
Favorite of the eve due to the absence of the three greats of the Norwegian Biathlon, Karoline Knotten (1-0) respects the expectations and, after winning the Short Individua yesterday, she repeats herself in the Sprint preceding Marte Johansen by only 1.6 seconds (0-0 ) while the third step of the podium at 15.2 goes to Greenlandic Ukaleq Slettemark (0-0). The nineteen year old Maren Kirkeeide (1-1) confirms herself as the fastest of the lot, trimming on skis half a minute to all the opponents and finishing in fourth position at 23.9 seconds.
The Swedish vernissage in Idre Fjall also closed, where French guests took the lion's share. To spoil the party of the hosts in the men's field is Emilien Jacquelin (9/10) who precedes Martin Ponsiluoma (9/10) by 7.9 seconds and Sebastian Samuelsson (9/10) by 46.2 seconds. In the women's field, the spoilsport is Anais Chevalier (10/10) who at the finish precedes by only 3 tenths Elvira Oeberg (9/10), the fastest on skis, Third place for Hanna Oeberg (8/10) at 26 seconds from the winner.
