After the Sprints and the Mass Starts in Otepää it is the day of the Mixed Relays: Sunday at 12:30 the Mixed Relay will start, while at 15:15 there will be the Single Mixed. There will be no Dorothea Wierer, fresh from two difficult and very expensive races. With the absence of the star of the team, the best cards have been diverted to the Single Mixed.

In fact, in the pairs test there will be Lukas Hofer, excellent in the mass start where he fought to the last polygon to get on the podium, and Lisa Vittozzi, who instead missed the points zone in the Sprint and did not take part in the Mass Start. Training reworked instead in the mixed relay, with Bormolini and Giacomel in the two initial stages and the Comola-Sanfilippo couple to close.
In both tests the competition will be numerous and of quality. In the Single Mixed there will be the Austrians Eder and Hauser, format specialists and runners-up in the season in Oberhof behind Russia. Sweden will also have very competitive pairs, with H. Oeberg and Samuelsson, the Germany of Lesser and Preuss and Norway, which fields Laegreid and Roeiseland. France starts a step below, which will have Guigonnat and A. Chevalier.
French who also show up at the start of the Mixed Relay with some defections. In fact, there will be no Jacquelin, Simon and Bescond. The “bleus” will therefore have Desthieux at the launch followed by Fillon Maillet, C. Chevalier and Braisaz. Norway is very competitive with Bakken, Christiansen, Eckhoff and Tandrevold, but Sweden will also have their say, with Elvira Oeberg in the last fraction, and Germany, solid in all four elements.
