The starting list of the Oestersund men's relay: Bormolini is among the four blues

After the two Sprints on Thursday that opened the second weekend of racing in Sweden, the Women's Pursuit is scheduled for tomorrow at 13:00 and the men's team race, the first of the season, at 3.10pm. Norway, France and Sweden start with the underdogs, Italy is aiming for the top 5.

The blue technical staff decided to field Thomas Bormolini at the launch, author of a good start to the season. The ballot for the first fraction was with Didier Bionaz, who is excluded from the five Italians present in Sweden. Dominik Windisch, although not in top form, will be closing, while in the two central fractions we will see Tommaso Giacomel and Lukas Hofer, superlative in Thursday's Sprint (bis). Italy is among the six nations that could play for the podium, even if the most affordable result seems to be the top 5. Three teams on paper are superior to the Azzurri, who instead could fight on equal terms with Russia and Germany. Favorites for the win are instead in order: Norway, France and Sweden. The norge deploy the Laegreid guarantee at launch, followed by the Boe brothers, with Christiansen closing. Sweden responds instead with Femling and Nelin in the first two stages and focuses strongly on the second part of the race, when Ponsiluoma and Samuelsson take to the track. For its part, France fielded its best quartet: Claude, Jacquelin, Desthieux and Fillon Maillet. Here is the complete starting list!
