The Slovak Biathlon federation officially disclosed the names of the athletes who will take part in the Olympic Games at home in Sochi 2014.

Those selected are the following:

DONNECHRAPANOVA Martina (1989) Fialkova Paulina (1992) GEREKOVA Jana (1984) Anastasiya Kuzmina (1984) Poliakova Terezia (1989)
In the men'' s excellent is excluded Simocko Dusan, who assumes the role of "reserve" in case one of the five selected were injured.
Among women is surprising exclusion of the'' Natalia Prekopova, which had close to the points in Ruhpolding, however, the twenty-four will be committed to the Europeans in Nove Mesto.
Obviously the medal hopes are focused on Anastasiya Kuzmina for which the Sochi Olympics will be in effect those of their home being born in Russia, before moving to Slovakia for marriage.
