Norwegian teams for the first stage of Ostersund

There are 12 days until the opening of the Biathlon World Cup with the Mixed Single and the Mixed Relay on Saturday 30 November.

As already happened in the past seasons, the biathletes will remain in Ostersund for a whole week with the Sprints of Sunday 1 December, the Individual of 4.5 December and the relays to close in the weekend. At the end of Sjusjoen's home opening, Norway technicians issued convocations. In the men's field there will be Lars Helge Birkeland and Vetle SjÃ¥stad Christiansen who have not seen each other for various ailments last weekend and Erlend Ã˜vereng BjÃ¸ntegaard who scored only the 52nd place in the Sprint and the 25th in the line start. After the presence of the Tarjei brothers and Johannes Thingnes Boe, the last available place was won thanks to the excellent performances of Sjusjoen by the twenty-two year old Johannes Dale. Endre Stromsheim and Aleksander Andersen remain on the bench as reserves. In the women's field, an assured place for Marte Olsbu Roiseland, Tiril Eckhoff, Ingrid Tandrevold, Emilie Kalkenberg and Karoline Knotten. The IBU Cup Sprint on November 28 in Sjusjoen will serve as an internal test for the choice between SynnÃ¸ve Solemdal and Thekla Brun-Lie.
