The biathlete from Sappada, after the excellent fraction in the mixed relay, spoke of her expectations as a guest of the appointment by Dario Puppo and Massimiliano Ambesi.

A serene Lisa Vittozzi, charged and focused for the highlight of the season: the Pokljuka World Cup.
"Clearly it is a different World Cup, without an audience there is the usual atmosphere; I realized during the change in the relay that there was a climate of surreal tranquility" - began the twenty-six year old from Sappada.
She was asked how the weather conditions are in the Slovenian locality in view of the next races: "When we arrived here (last week) it was raining; then a little snow came and luckily it was a little cold. track were really difficult, it was really difficult to get the skis going. Now it should start getting colder: this would be a good thing for us athletes.
A rather encouraging start to the World Championship for Lisa, with the excellent fraction disputed in the mixed fraction: "It was the second time in my career that I was deployed in the second fraction; honestly it would not be my ideal position, but I am very happy with how I competed. and the sensations were very good ".
And on the opponents: "The competition for medals will be very high as always, there are also athletes on the launching pad or who have blossomed in this one (Lisa Hauser) who will be able to reserve some surprises".
The Puppo & Ambesi couple then asked how they plan to tactically manage the sprint on Saturday: "I will race to get the best possible result, not thinking in terms of pursuit. I want to get the best result and to do it I will have to run some risks".
With a blast from the past, however, he recalled his best race in his career: "The double victory of Oberhof in 2019 remains the best moment of my career; if I had to choose one of the two victories I would choose the one in pursuit, because it was a victory of test more than performance on skis, since I was physically at the limit ".
She said she was very confident about her state of form: "Covid in October had me a little 'upset my plans; the form, race after race, has always been growing, here in Pokljuka I have always found myself very well. I feel very good, on skis I am in excellent condition and I am happy with my current physical condition ".
Lisa concluded with a general thought about what she expects from the world championship event: "Finally I feel good, Pokljuka has always given me satisfactions and I hope to confirm the excellent feeling with the track. The performance in the mixed relay, despite not being arrived a medal (Italy finished sixth), it gave me so much confidence, which I hope to put on the track in the next races, hoping to get a great result; given that at the World Cup medals count and after so many fourth places .. . ".
