First of all, the change in the order of the fractionists. In fact, for the first time in a world championship, the men will be involved in the first two stages, while the girls will follow. In Italy, the first novelty is Didier Bionaz at the launch, but Lisa Vittozzi in the last fraction also represents an unprecedented one, which however seems to have loaded the sappadina: "Finally, let's start with the mixed relay, - declared Lisa to Fisi.org microphones - even if compared to the past the starting order has changed, with the men in the first two stages and the women closing. We are a competitive team, I am happy to be lined up in the last fraction ”.
Usually Vittozzi was deployed, both in the Mixed Relays and in the female ones, in the first fraction. It has often been discussed about its possible use in more competitive fractions and in this case the regulation "forced" the technical staff to change course. On the eve we could have expected to see her in the third stage, where Dorothea Wierer will be there, with Lukas Hofer in second.
"It is my first time in many years that I have been deployed at the launch and I can't wait to have fun. I arrive at these races with the conviction that I have worked well and that I have found myself at the highest level also in terms of sensations at the shooting range, I will give my all and see how things will go ".
