The biathlon Italian team began today the 'last gathering of preparation for the new season which, with regard to the World Cup, will kick off on November 27 from Ostersund (Sweden).

The blue team held its training program in Trysil, a town in the southwest of the neighboring Norway to the Swedish border.
There will be nine of the 10 athletes that make up Team A, or Dorothea Wierer, Karin Oberhofer, Federica Sanfilippo, Lisa Vittozzi, Nicole Gontier, Dominik Windisch, Lukas Hofer, Thomas Bormolini and Joseph Montello.
Only absent Alexia Runggaldier, which for a couple of months longer plays internship with the World Cup team.
The rally will continue until Thursday, November 17. It is unclear whether, as in recent years, the Italian biathletes will take part in traditional competitions Sjusjøen planned for the weekend of November 12 and 13, where many of the big circuit are used to test themselves in the competitive arena in the snow for the first time since March.

Alla Gazzetta dello Sport, il direttore tecnico della nazionale femminile ha aggiunto qualche dettaglio sui motivi del rientro anticipato di Sofia dal Sudamerica, rinunciando al blocco in Cile che era previsto dopo quanto di buono fatto per due settimane abbondanti a Ushuaia specialmente sul gigante. Nelle prossime ore gli accertamenti medici: Non li abbiamo fatti in Argentina perchè non c'era la possibilità di approfondire al meglio.
