With some uncertainty due to the strong wind, which caused the postponement of the race, we have reached the epilogue of the 2020/21 Biathlon World Cup. The starting line will be decisive for the fate of the general classification, but not only.

Johannes Boe will start with the yellow bib, which however is virtually on the shoulders of Laegreid, leading the standings by one point if the gaps are taken into account. The two therefore start paired and whoever crosses the finish line first will win the crystal ball, with the twenty-four year old from Baerum who, however, must not get out of the top eight positions.

Lukas Hofer will be at the start for Italy, chasing the third podium in as many races in Oestersund, as well as fourth in the last five races. However, Alexander Loginov will not start, in his place the Bulgarian Iliev. It will also be a battle for the specialty cup, where the favorite is Tarjei Boe but Johannes Boe and Laegreid, Fillon Maillet and Simon Eder for mathematics are also fighting.
