The snow forces the organizers of the Italian Summer Biathlon Championships to cancel all the women's events while only the Senior and Junior events in the men's field took place.

After the victory in yesterday's Sprint, Lukas Hofer also won the Italian title in the pursuit after a race lived only in the ground on the duel with Giuseppe Montello, yesterday just 4 seconds behind. The Alto Adige pays a penalty in the first and second polygons while Montello makes only one mistake in the opening; in the middle of the race the two are still in the pair but the sessions are standing to make the difference.
The Carnian errs two or four times (two per polygon) while Hofer pays a penalty per session; the last lap becomes a catwalk with Lukas Hofer preceding Giuseppe Montello of 1''19 "8. More distant third (2''15" 9) Dominik Windisch with 5 errors of the day preceding Thomas Bormolini by thirty seconds (1 + 0 + 3 + 2).
Daniele Cappellari secured the Italian title in the junior category, where he preceded Didier Bionaz and Patrick Braunhofer.
