At the Carnia Arena in Forni Avoltri we met during the summer school the blue Lukas Hofer who told us about his summer and what the future goals will be.

"The preparation is going very well - the almost thirty South Tyrolean debuted on the Neveitalia microphones - we are doing a tiring load training in preparation for the home world championships (scheduled for February 2020 ed), the summer races were used to try again the same situations that you try in the race because your legs are shaking and it is certainly interesting to compare yourself with others, I am very curious to see the form of Martin Fourcade and next weekend in Annecy I, Dorothea (Wierer ndr) and Lisa (Vittozzi ndr ) we will compare ourselves with him. "
Hofer, who like Vittozzi and Wierer during the summer has been the protagonist of several summer biathlon events, would be in favor of setting up a biathon skiroll exhibition circuit to promote the discipline during the summer season, "It would be great to compete in "Summer in Italy. I believe that in our country there may be some bureaucratic obstacles compared to Germany and Norway, but I think this is the right recipe to bring more followers and fans to biathlon."
Finally Lukas for the moment does not seem willing to try new Guinness World Record of extreme resistance, "For now I will stop. As long as they do not break my record I do not put myself in the game. If they were to improve my record I still have in mind a new path which would allow me to recover the record without compromising my health too much. Clearly this initiative is not only a personal challenge but it is mainly a charity that allowed me to raise funds for people less fortunate than me. "
