The two Czech champions are the great protagonists of the Summer Biathlon World Championships that took place over the weekend in Nove Mesto.

Michal Krcmar won in the Sprint on Saturday and in the Pursuit on Sunday after finishing in fourth place the Supersprint on Friday, which was surprisingly won by the Romanian George Buta who in his career never went beyond a thirty-first winter place in the Individual of the World Championships in Anterselva. The 28-year-old Romanian scores a 20/20 and allows himself to precede the Russian Kostyukov (18/20) at the finish line by 11 seconds and the Belgian Florent Claude (18/20) by 15.7 seconds, one of the few Western Europeans at the start. Michal Krcmar with an 18/20 accuses a delay of 22.8 seconds from the winner.
The music is different in the sprint where the Czech, perfect at the shooting range and with the third time on the rollers, doubles the victory in the same race format of 2018. Krcmar precedes the Slovak Baloga by about ten seconds (10/10) while Romania still climbs on the podium with Cornel Puchianu (8/10) at 23 seconds with the best time on inline skates.
There is no race in the final pursuit: Krcmar allows himself an irrelevant error at the last polygon and imposes himself with a 15.7 second advantage over Florent Claude (16/20) who cold in the sprint the Russian Kostyukov (19/20 ).
The world champion of the Individual Marketa Davidova is also a prophet in her homeland, who has imposed herself since the Supersprint where, despite a 17/20 at the shooting range, she precedes the Ukrainian Yuliia Dzhima (18/20) by 2.9 and by 6.6 second the Russian Kazakevich (15/20).
Marketa does not double in the Sprint where she is preceded by 11.1 seconds by the Polish Monika Hojnisz (9/10) while the third place goes to the Slovenian Klemencic. at 21.0 with a 10/10 shot. Davidova, however, closes with a flourish with the Pursuit where with 17/20 shooting she finds herself in the last round to duel, like the Friday with Dzhima (19/20) burning her on the final straight. Third place at 8.4 for the Russian Derbusheva (20/20)
